It’s all in the list…
I’ve been marketing for about a hundred years. OK, it’s about fifteen but feels like a hundred! I know you’ve heard it all before, but the truth is the larger your mailing list, the better you’re going to do. Technology has changed alot over the years, but this rule always applies.
Now you have to of course send out relevant information that people are interested in, but building the list is of vital importance. I bring this up because I came across an article last week that went over user behavior when opting into a list:

This isn’t my term for it. It comes from a study done by Microsoft Some people are using e-mail addresses as junk folders–others are creating this sh*t folder. Click here to read the article.

Augmented Reality
One of my readers mentioned a campaign Esquire magazine did with a concept called augmented reality. They sold a lot more magazines as a result.
