The iPad is really starting to get around — not only is it in the car, but now it’s also embedded in the kitchen. Alan Daly custom mounted the “magical” Apple device inside his kitchen cabinet.

The headphone jack funnels sound into a MIDI system for audio output duties, and apps like Epicurious turn Daly’s kitchen cabinet into a modern-day bottomless recipe book. Future plans include using the Apple Remote App to tap into the home’s main music library (once Apple updates it to support landscape mode, says Daly).
