I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, contemplating to get my Masters in Marketing. I am currently in health care marketing right now. I work for a small company so pretty much I am the marketing department. In what areas should I work on? Appreciate your help.
I was a marketing consultant for 7 years. First, find a mentor in the field of marketing consulting and see if they will help you get starting…maybe working for them. Two try to establish yourself as an expert in an area – research, promotions, event planning, communications, advertising, internet, etc. by giving seminars for the local Chamber of Commerce or writing articles for the local papers. Three start a network of associates to get referrals.
