It hasn’t even been a week since the iPad launch, but Apple’s already back on the marketing trail to promote the iPhone 3GS.

Today’s iPhone ad focuses around the shopping experience and how the iPhone can help. Of course, it promotes the iPhone’s web browsing capabilities, SMS/MMS interface, and its thousands of apps — the Red Laser barcode-reading app gets some prime placement, as no other apps are really featured in this commercial.

While the iPhone’s ads are less flashy than, say, Droid’s ads, the focus on its utility has proven to be a winner.
